How to install Meta Pixel?

This article offers a thorough guide on establishing Meta Pixel to enable tracking and analytics of user interactions on your Framer website.

To install the pixel tracking code on Meta, you need a verified business account. Here's how to do it:

  1. Create your account and visit this link to access Meta Business Suite.

  2. On the left side, click on "All Tools" and then select "Events Manager".

  3. On the left side again, click on "Connect Data Sources". A popup will appear.

  4. Choose "Web" on the left side and follow the steps to enter your website URL.

  5. After entering the URL, you will be given two options: "Get Guidance" or "Do it yourself". Choose “Do it yourself” and then "Meta Pixel" only option.

  6. Copy the Base code and paste it into the Site settings start of <head> tag in Framer. Save the changes and republish your website.

  7. Now you can set up events using Meta's Event Setup Tool. Enter the published URL and select the buttons or links to add specific events, such as Add to Cart, Find Location, Search, View Content, etc.

  8. Go to the "Test events" tab and enter the published URL.

  • Ensure that you don't have any Ad Blockers enabled in your browser.

  • Test events appear in real time, but it may take up to 30 minutes after setting up your event to see it in your analytics. If everything is successfully connected, you will see the results in the activity section.
